I believe it's fine - just as with a car - as long as its not at a level that would prevent you from hearing emergency services' sirens.. but I might be wrong..??

It is legal but I wouldn't put it on in city/town driving.

I use it when on the motorway or dual carriageways over longer distances. All you can hear is wind noise anyways so I think it is acceptable.

On back roads, towns, cities or any built up area I would highly not recommend it. You need can hear much more things at that speed.

What helmet speakers have you got? Any links?

I used my ipod headphones and the sound quality is bad above 60mph.

no question on this site should be a daft one. as far as music goes. just get a bigger bike change the exhaust and listen to the engine. 8) no car drivers can truely do that. :D

i use these if going for a long boring ride (motorway etc) i use these -
http://www.skullcandy.com/shop/smokinbuds-p-10.html

Basically the work as well as any ear plugs but are headphones as well. They have some clever silicone molding, I use them on a really low volume and even at motorway speeds can only just hear the engine....and ive got race cans on a twin thou :D
i dont have a drinking problem.......if anything, i'm too good at it
