That things been for sale so many times in the past 12 months, reminds me a bit of the zx6 powered reliant thats been up for sale too: http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1117655.htm some funny videos of this on youtube.

I have been looking at buying a BEC (bike engined car) for some time, have tried a couple of 7 style kit cars one with an R1 motor and the other with a blade engine. As good as they are they are hard work to drive as they produce so little torque and as such require lots of revs and clutch slipping to get going, they can eat clutches and the standard bike clutches need upgrading. Also many don't have reverse as they use the sequential box straight out of the bike which can be a real nightmare, a transfer box will allow the same sequential ratios to drive the car backwards so in theory you can go as fast backwards as you can forwards  an easier solution is an electric reversing motor.

The best bike engines for these things are the busa/zx12 they offer improved torque and a better spread of power throughout the rev range, they do come at a price though.

deej mentioned an R1 engined mini, I suspect it was a Z cars mini, amazing vehicles available in varying specifications depending on the size of your wallet.

Check out z cars: http://www.zcars.org.uk/index.htm Some crazy stuff.

Anyway, I am sounding like a real nerd (I can't help it) if you love cars and bikes you have to blag a go in BEC I swear you will laugh your nuts off
