Shoulder checks are essential in Exeter again then  But no seriously I had two 125's cut me up on the ride up past the college, Buggers nearly killed themselves on the H Bus I think it was if I'd been a car they'd have been squished. I yelled like crap at them when the lights were red and they called me Grandpa ... I'm 22 ffs!
I don't ride at present, came off and can't wait to be back on.

Nice one ^:)^

........ but why bother with a 125 at all :-? we're looking for a DRz-400 for Jamie - get a DAS course organised for as soon after his 17th as possible, then straight to the 400 - no messing around with buying a 125 for a couple of months just to sell it again and buy a bigger bike - he's gonna be restricted to 33bhp for two years anyway ........

Yer it doesn't seem logical to muck around on the 125 but I got my car licence and was on that until over 21 which is the cut off for the DAS as thats for the unresticted licence which you need to pass on a 500cc or higher to obtain and I got mine in Jan. You'd want to look for an A1 licence courses I think it is and when you enquire the prices are about £100 to £200 different just so they restrict them for 2 years to 33BHP. but I thought I'd through the extra 100 or so at it to get myself a real bike that doesn't have a restrictor. Nothing more annoying than accelerating up and the engine seeming to just stop before it really wanted too. Like wearing rollerblades on one foot
