Imagine putting a Yamaha R1 up against a bicycle and racing the two. So who will win? What do you think?
What happens if you pit a superbike against a pushbike down the Tour de France's most famous mountain?
Sitting astride the Yamaha YZF-R1 superbike on the 1850-metre summit of Alpe d'Huez high in the French Alps with the bike's engine burbling at tickover in the crisp alpine air, the mountain lies before me. Daunting doesn't even come close. Ahead is a 13.5-kilometre plunge into the valley below.

R1 vs pushbike
Being shot out of a cannon will always be better than being squeezed out of a tube. That is why God made fast motorcycles,

I would'nt facncy trying to stay with this guy. Fabian Cancellara is regarded as one of the sports best descenders. He was in the leaders yellow jersey but had a puncture, got dropped from the peloton the had to ride hard to get back on. Some amazing riding and you've got to admire the motorcycle cameraman who hung on his back wheel.
