Gravel warning A 3072 Hatherleigh holsworthy

Post by Mervin »

Been out to hatherleigh today in the truck, most of the length of the A3072 road between Holsworthy and Hatherleigh has been patched and then the patching covered in red lose gravel stuff , It seems to be collecting in piles on the edges and middle of the road where and where only half the road is treated it is spreading across to the other side , so go careful if you are on this road

I noticed when we were out on Sunday that the road known as 'bambam rise' has signs on it saying that it is going to be dressed this week.

another road bites the dust for summer :(

Well yesterday they had the sweepers on the hoslworthy > hatherleigh road , but the signs are now out saying they wil top dressing it in the next 7 days weather permitting , so cross that off your list for most of the rest of the summer folks

The problem now is the sh*t they spread it into is melting in the heat leaving the roads slick like they've been greased .... X(
