Bleddy M&P

Post by TLS-Moose »

So, perusing the severe drain on finances that is Ebay, and mindfull of the impact the Dyno has had on the MV's rear tyre along with the impending trip "a la francais" ..... I spy a new rear tyre of the same type as existing but the nicer 190/55 flavour for a mere £89 including postage  Bargain! methinks, so one is duly ordered.

It arrived this evening, whilst I was out walking the dog ....... but unfortunately the plonker who posted it has sent a 180/55, which ain't much cop for a 6" rim :(

So, before it go's back, would anyone be interested in a brand new 180/55/ZR17 Michelin Pilot Power for £85??

I'll speak to M&P in the morning, but would think they'd be happy with a deal that saves them the return postage?

well they mucked me about good and proper when I ordered a replacement mirror for my Gix. They sent me the wrong one, even though the product code was the same. The bloke on the phone tried to make out I ordered the wrong part. Then when I returned the mirror, by their courier service, I had to call them a week or so later as they had made no contact to be told, 'oh sorry they are out of stock and won't be in for another month'.

They did refund the money but that's not the point, the customer service was shit!

Good luck with getting another tyre, I'd go to BTC motorcycles instead, good prices and great service :D !

weird init , I cannot speak more highly of M&P , I forgot summat i think it was Acid for a battery on an net order once , phoned and asked if i could add that to the order, the guy put it on FOC yes no increase in the bill , ordered a load of bits for the Z650 , including cheapo air flter, got a washable K&N air filter, no extra charge, Mike had a scooter tyre from em, fitted it and it had a hole in the side wall, sent it back and got a refund the next week, no quibbles, and apologies for being so slow as the shop burnt out the day they got the tyre back , they where slow sending me a tyre once , as they where waiting for stock, it arrived about 2 weeks after I ordered it , with a £10 discount voucher for my next order

You should have told everyone you bought it for 120, then you could have made a profit...

Well, they wouldn't let me pass it on, and insisted the tyre was returned to them, and arranged a courier to collect saying they'd send the new one out once it was back .......

I had an e-mail yesterday morning to say the (correct sized) replacement had been dispatched. Mid-morning today, Mr DPD knocks on the front door with a nice rubber ring in his hand - and yes it's the correct 190/55 flavour this time :-bd

However ...... it's not the Pilot Power I ordered - no, in their wisdom they have "upgraded" me to a Pilot Power 2ct which is currently listed at £128.99 on their website rather than the £84 I paid ...... Woo-Hoo B-) ^:)^

M&P have always been good for me, and always seem to have the best prices.
