Waterproofs over leathers

Post by jeffturl »

Hi guys, i am after some advice. i ride through the winter commuting each day to work - about 8 miles. i ride in leathers which are fine until it starts to lash down with rain. Can anyone recommend a decent 2 piece set of waterproofs to go over the leathers. I don't need armour in them nor insulation, just something to sling on over the leathers when it rains, so that by the time i get to work i am not soaked through.

I am not looking at spending a mad amount of money, as long as they keep me dry!

Thanks
Jeff

If you just want an over suit go to Cms in Exeter, they have quite a range of setups to go along with most tastes and wallets.

I bought a sidi oversuit there a few years ago and it's never let me down.

OXFORD WATERPROOFS, do reasonably priced 2 piece suits, I got mine from Bridge in Exeter.
If its just for commuting, & you'll be wearing over dry leathers, then maybe a one piece may be better.

CMS is my first choice.

Mine is a two piece, many many years old and leaked a bit at the crutch seams, (as did my one piece) A bit of gaffer tape to seal the seams does the job.
