Winter dark nights and end of the racing season...

Post by badgerKDD »

So with all the racing coming to a close after this Sunday, I thought I would recommend some winter reading.

For some of you it might be old news, but I've just finished reading 'The Fast Stuff' by Matt Oxley. Its a collection of his articles from his many years as a journalist reporting from inside the paddock. As a successful racer himself he manages to get some stories you wouldn't nowadays hear from the PR friendly, fake smiley post race interviews and comments on some of the big turning points in Racings chequered history, from the Shwantz/ Rainey era up to the 800 four strokes, Rossi versus Stoner battles.

Anyway just thought I'd recommend it if you've not read it or found it yet. Wasn't too expensive either ;) !
Cut me in half and I'v got Suzuki written right through me!

I always enjoyed reading his column in Bike magazine.
