Anyone been down the A374 from Torpoint to Trerulefoot. Been a number of years since I've gone down this route but I remember reading somewhere that they were putting those bloody awful average speed cameras along the A374. Are they still there?
Cheers

You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.
Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Re: A374 speed camera's
I used that route a year ago in a car and I didn't see any cameras there then.

It's just I remember it being a fab stretch of road to rattle along. Would like to visit the route again but was a bit unsure about bloody speed cameras.

Lots of local pressure on the authorities I gather. Trying to get cameras and limit reduced to 40.
Have you noticed that anyone going slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster is a maniac ?
Re: A374 speed camera's
I'm visiting friends again this Christmas near Torpoint and will then be travelling on to Truro so will be using that route again so will let you know if I see any speed cams. The people I visit told me its a favourite with the bikers. I had never used it before last year but I could see why it is popular with fast open bends must be super on a bike.

Drove on that road on Christmas Day there were lots of signs reminding bikes to ride sensibly but no speed cameras.

Re: A374 speed camera's
Hi Guys, I travel along the A374 daily and can confirm there are no cameras fixed or average speed all the way from Torpoint to Trerulefoot. However the mobile vans love Sheviock and Polbathic both 30mph. So my advice is cool it through there but you can really wind it on through the rest of the "Twisties".
