Have you blown any fuses on the bike? Before attempting to start the bike, how long (days/weeks) had the bike been sitting about? If your bike is a Carb'ed version and it's been sitting around for a while, it could be that the fuel in the float chambers has gone off (de-stablised) which could be the...
