My bike now has loads of new and improved bits, and IS gonna run so sweet once I got it run in.
But at the mo I am having some gay electrical faults, and lost me job, so cant pay for someone to fix it :( (Plus its winter anyway!!!)
I have improved my MX, so maybe it could help me on my road bike? I dunno?!

Forgot to mention my new engine, new reg/rec which i added a CPU fan to to help cooling it, new coils and HTs, wavy discs, jack up dog bones, rear set risers, seat cowl and a cigarette lighter socket for mobile phone charger etc...i think thats it :?
Well to be fair, you probably have one of the nicest Sv's. Out of interest, how much do you think it has cost you thus far?

Any further plans for it? perhaps a TL motor? ;)
Too much
The front end conversion didn't cost that much £28 to be exact, I sold the SV bits and almost broke even

As mentioned, a TL engine would be too much work, I'd just buy a TL. No point doing any more engine work as it would compromise reliability to much, i could put busa pistons in to boost compression, 700/750/800cc big bore kits are available but put to much strain on the crack and a race spec crank is well over the £1500 mark..........no thanks

I would say i have improved huge amounts, although I have only been riding since December last year. My confidence on the road has improved and my general riding ability.

Yeah I got BT020's on my Bandit, they are very good on the wet, but on the trackday they failed me a bit, my old BT45's were better on track.

Seriously? A friend of mine uses bt45's on his bandit all year round and swore by them. I have them on my GSX550 but I wasnt too keen on them, used to slide a fair bit on corners.

My new bikes got Dunlop D208's. They seem like 'the $hit' I still havent got the back end to step out on corners with them  obviously I'm not going fast enough. I recomend them to anyone.

Yeah I think the BT45's are better on Bandit's. The only way my BT020's have been better is in the wet. Which is important I guess.

what sort of mileage do you get out of the bt45s? I've just put a set on my RD ready for when its on the road - use d207's on my gsxr and find them great in the dry, and ok but a little slippy in the wet - only problem is less than 2500 miles from a rear tyre. Know it'll be different on a much lighter bike but am keen to see how I get on with the bt45's

hard to say, depends on how you ride I guess. on my gsx550 (bearing in mind it weighs a lot more than your rd) I would get about 4,000 out of the back tyre, 5-6,000 out of the front. I was a nutter on that though.
