A quick look down this topic reveals Steve Gray, also new to SWB, in Exeter and looking to join in. A zip up to Taunton was mentioned. Does that kind of thing go on regularly? I notice that loads of you are from around Exeter

So, where's all the Exeter action? My motorway commute is squaring my tyres off... :(

You just missed this weeks meet mate, at Maltsers on Tuesday evening  :D

OK, bored with the interweb now. So I'm going to bore you lot and tell you a bit more about me. Save me having to talk when I come along to a meet.

30, 1 kiddywink, 1 Missus who thought bikes were irresponsible tosh 'till I came home on my shiny new SV with race can growling. Now she thinks bikes are lush and bikers are danger-loving leather-clad sex gods. Mission acomplished. 8)

Riding history: Picked up a DNA125 15 months ago when I moved back into Exeter. The intention was to bust traffic. 5 minutes on two wheels and I was hooked! Another 5 minutes and I realised I was at risk of being branded 'chav'. Sold the DNA, picked up a Suzuki RV125 - the 'VanVan'.
That bike was the business. So slow, I got burned off by milk floats. But it was a great ride. Perfect for the quarry that passes for roads in Exeter.
Passed my DAS in September and went straight to Dynomap (good blokes) to swap the VanVan for my '03 SV650S. I'm loving it! The previous owner added a few good mods - braided brake hoses, hugger, Scorpion Titanium can, double bubble, belly pan, seat cowl etc.

Now I'm desperate to show my Suzuki more than the 10 mins of motorway that seperates home from work! Mrs Phil is well keen on a zip to Paris next summer as am I. I'm also up for a week in Northern Spain or France or something next year. Anyone?

There, thats me. :D
