unlucky mate, i did think the subframe looked pretty fcuked in that picture but at least no damage to yourself .

i would take this as a a sign, a sign its time to build the best streetfighter swb and the southwest has seen, its cheaper and awesomer (its a word) in equal measure :D
i dont have a drinking problem.......if anything, i'm too good at it

Got a phone call from the repair people today, they're picking it up tomorrow to take a look at it. The guy said over the phone though that with this age bike, if the subframe is cracked they usually write it off.

If they do, I'll see what they give me to write it off then make a decision. If I can I'll buy it back and track it up, all it'll need is the rear subframe braced/fixed (I'll be talking to you about it jono) and left hand foot rest.

Going to take lots of pics of the bike (exhaust and ohlins suspension in particular) and mention that I'd like to buy it back if they write it off.

How do mate..

Unlucky on your spill..

I have a spare engine in my garage in clevedon, also got loads or r6 bits floating about you can have. I stacked m2003 big style last year i know it heart breaking to see it in bits.

My mate is a rolls royce trained alloy welder and has done engine welding, created engine mounts from nothing, and currently doing me a custom r1 frame.

If your subframe is intacked i can line it up and get it welded for you. just send me a pm.

Or ask southwestbikebreakers which site i am from and get in-touch with me there.

8) Without the risk of sounding like a tape stuck on rewind . The main thing is your ok . Bikes are metal , and can be replaced . We are flesh and bone , and the last time i saw a dead body , it had no chance of doing that . .............. But hey my Black Widow was off the road for six weeks , i know how pissed off you are . 8)

Well I've gotten 950 for the r6, thats after 250 excess and buying it back for 300 so I'm a happy bunny. Going to convert the R6 into a trackbike now, so if anyone can help me with storage of it please let me know.
