. ( they don't sell that in Halfords I'm afraid
).

Re: Bike Toolbox ?
A good quality set of T handle screwdrivers, torx and allens are really useful. Bike fasteners seem to be made of chocolate these days and T drivers provide far better control than allen keys, socket wrenches or straight shank screwdrivers and faster operation.
Individual sets are best but its expensive to acquire the full range. Sets with interchangeable bits are good but avoid cheapos and ratchet handles which will break.
Britool, Facom, Teng, Bahco, Sealy and some of the Clarke stuff (Machine Mart) are ideal.

a manual?
The following four-letter Acronym should always precede any work on a bike or car if you're trying it for the first time; RTFM! (I'll let you figure out what it means).
If you're short on confidence then ask someone knowledgeable to help and guide you, but not to do it for you as you'll forget most of what you've seen. There's no substitute for getting some hands-on time (oo-er...)
Read The F*ckin Manual ?
I have about 10 pairs of shoes including Wellingtons, Dr Martens and my bike boots ahahahahabadgerKDD wrote:Be careful G Girl, buying tools is far more addictive ( and satisfying ) than even buying shoes ;) ....... ;)
Especially if you start getting the 'Catalogue's' too...........very addictive.......![]()

Re: Bike Toolbox ?
RTFM won't help you much if you own a Ducati. A Ducati manual is a wodge of pages half an inch thick telling you in ten languages what a brilliant bike you've bought but only one entry when it comes to maintenance: "take it to an approved Ducati dealer".
A KTM handbook is like having a Haynes manual under the seat. Everything is there including a full list of torque settings. And a comprehensive tool kit including bottle opener for half time.
This is the tool kit you get with a Ducati Streetfighter and you have to dismantle the entire tail section to find it:
