Found out about this during the lockdown.
Started by a member of the well know Wheaton family in the 1920’s.
They used engines from MAG, British Anzani, Rudge Python and JAP, and even frames from Brough Superior.
There is a small collection of them in the Lake district.

This really interest me as an Exeter lad, I knew about the Wheaton empire but no idea about the bikes. Next trip the lakes I’ll definitely drop into the museum. Thanks for posting.

The Lakeland motor museum definitely worth a visit if you happen to be in those parts, interesting bikes and cars. Last time I was there they did tell me ''no, we don't allow test rides on the Vincent''.

I had heard of AJW did not realise they where from Exeter though , AJW Wolfhound seems to ring a bell from back in the 70/80,s i think

I went to Lakeland last year
Its a great museum but I didn't know about the AJW but id manage to get a picture of one in the museum
