Eh up icy testicles!!!

Post by furry »

OK this might be stating the obvious...

BUT...

Dood's it's fookin freezin outside, roads are shinyer than a puffs backside and there is enough ice to get the skates out on...

If you want an english translation of that, leave ya bike indoors, I've seen so many people out on bikes today, yet its black ice all over the f'in place don't be a muppet like them and end up binning your pride and joy, keep it inside in the warm and order a pizza instead!!!

Glad I don't live in Swindon  sounds too cold to ride my bike up there......

we've been lucky in Plymouth so far, the weather has been a bit damp but no sign of snow or ice or the like.......

Hehehe I got no choice me old man lives here and the "free rent" thing is too good to say no too being a student :P

I think all the cold air comming from NorthEast so hopefully most of it will have dropped off before it gets down to the coastal towns etc, I'm hoping it will thaw out a bit today as I need to go and get new tyres on my 400 they are slick at the moment

Anyway lets just hope the shortest day of the yr ain't the coldest :D

Horribly practical and sensible reply here. If you are suffering from cold bits when riding I would suggest you get some thermal stuff from Millets (Prounounced Meeaaa's, if you is posh). For the bargain price of a mere 30 beer tokens you get top and bottom cover up stuff for considerably less than what is 'proper' bikers kit. It works.
I cannot believe I just posted something this dull. Pull yourself apart Greg.

nothing more dull than havin frozen nads
Seriously i bought some for work ages ago for when i'm out there at night in the depth of winter and even the polar bears have found somewhere to stay warm.
So when i went on on a long ride out my mate motomark He's smuggly wearing some and toastie
Me nah roughty toughty biker won't wear those

Froze me nads off.......Do'h!

Glad it's rained tho, with all that salt and muck thats compacted on the roads it was like riding on Glass.
The Problem with Reality is the lack of background music
