applies the brakes in a panick type manner, locks both wheels for about 4 meteres before impact.luckily I hit the gate away from the posts and I can remember lying on the ground listening to it bouncing on the tarmac, had I have been going the other way I would have hit the gate Into the posts and that would have hurt a lot more.
