A layby is just up ahead and then I notice in my mirrors blue flashers in his grill, alternating headlights and his left indicator on.
Obviously I ignore it as I don't recognise this as a Police car, the driver is tucked up and I cannot clearly make him out to be in any uniform.
I'm now thinking he's just come from Halfords and bought some of those radiator grill accessories to make his van go quicker or maybe hold-up some unsuspecting driver etc, etc, etc and who knows what
The second lay-by is approaching and I notice the same irritating vision in my mirrors so guess what... yes, it's to be ignored so I carry on; I should be home soon and maybe he'll find someone else to annoy
The third lay-by is now comming up so this time he overtakes me and I see it's a uniform inside and he now displays a "STOP" "POLICE" sign in his back window so I follow him into the siding.
I don't need to go into why he pulled me over but I did explain why I ignored him and carried on my merry way - he then said he was very close to calling out a patrol car with Stinger if I failed to stop again, I should have asked would that happen if I was riding my bike
