Re: Looking for advice
Aplogies for dragging this thread from the deep. Insurance case still ongoing. Been offered 50/50 but not accepting that. Anyways, its become apparant that my hand/ wrist has some lasting damage which means anything over 30 mins on a sportsbike is agony. So current plan is to look at something more ...

Re: Recommend me a new Textile Jacket
I've just got a set of RST Blade jacket and trousers from J&S Plymouth (also got matching gloves)
Early days but I'm impressed so far. Jacket and trousers came in at £230.
Top service from J&S, no hard sell but there if you need help and advice.

Re: Textiles and helmet reccomendations please
Well, I've ordered a helmet- AGV Horizon. Its from Sportbikeshop.com so has free returns if it doesnt fit or I don't like. I have dealt with them before and they are really good. I'm favouring the RST stuff at the moment. What is the sizing like?? I'm an XL in my current damaged Alpinestars jacket, ...

Re: Looking for advice
Thanks for the replies. Frame and forks are fine, only issue is cosmetics. Top fairing, side fairing, seat unit are scratched. Both mirrors lightly scratched, engine casing scratched and needs 2 indicators. Will I have issues insuring it as cat d and will I need an engineers report? Only other issue...

Looking for advice
I was involved in an accident at the end of last year. I won't go into details but I was knocked off. Damage to bike was the usual sports bike damage (scraped fairings etc, bike was CBR600RR5) Insurance have assessed it and have come back as uneconomical repair, bike written off (cat D). They have o...

Re: 63k mile Hayabusa
If the price is right, and the work doesn't put you off, go for it.
Quite a few on ebay with quite high miles (40k+) and they are up for decent money.

Re: Possibly coming back to biking!!
Summer glove recommendations please...... Need a pair of summer gloves. In the old pre mortgage days I'd think nothing of going out and dropping £200 on a pair of Alpinestars finest, those days are long gone and budget is now about £60. Current favourites are RST Tracktechs or Spada Predators. Anyon...
